Driver’s License Revocation Reduced from Six Years to Three Years

Driver’s License Revocation Reduced from Six Years to Three Years

Driver received notice from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety of a six year revocation period many years after his last DWI. The Department of Public Safety issued the notice after learning of several out of state DWI’s. A petition for judicial review of the Department’s adverse license action was filed and settlement discussions with the Attorney General’s office ensued. The Attorney General’s office agreed to a three year reduction in the revocation period – saving the client three years in ignition interlock fees or not being able to operate a motor vehicle.
