A search warrant was executed by a drug task force at the client’s home in suburban Ramsey County. As part of the search, law enforcement seized 15 firearms owned by the client, and served the client with notices of forfeiture for all firearms. Adam filed a civil complaint in Ramsey County District Court challenging the government’s forfeiture. After the filing of the complaint, the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office agreed to return all of the client’s firearms.
