Our client was under a lifetime ban on possessing firearms and ammunition due to a conviction for burglary in the 1990s. Adam petitioned the Hennepin County District Court for a restoration of firearm rights, and also briefed the issues in order to best make the argument to the district court on the client’s behalf. Following a hearing before a district court judge, the district court reinstated our client’s right to possess firearms. The client can now hunt with his family, and enjoy all the other benefits afforded by firearm ownership.
