Our client was under a lifetime ban on possessing firearms and ammunition due to two felony drug convictions from the early 2000s.  Adam petitioned the Washington County District Court for a restoration of firearm rights in both files, and also briefed the issues in order to best make the argument to the district court on the client’s behalf.  The government opposed both petitions.  After a hearing, the district court reinstated our client’s right to possess firearms.  The client can now hunt with his family, and participate in recreational shooting leagues – things he could not lawfully do before his firearm rights were restored.
