Traffic Stop Ruled Unconstitutional in License Case

Traffic Stop Ruled Unconstitutional in License Case

Our client was stopped by the police in Ramsey County for allegedly swerving within his lane, driving too slow, and braking without reason.  Following the stop, the client was arrested for DWI, and his license was revoked for a period of one year.  Adam filed a challenge to the license revocation, and the case was set on for a hearing before a judge.  At the hearing, the officer testified that the stop was justified due to the client’s driving conduct.  Adam cross-examined the officer, and utilized the squad video recording and photographic exhibits to show that the driving conduct did not occur as the officer testified.  At the conclusion of the hearing, the judge ruled in favor our client from the bench.  The client’s one-year license revocation was immediately rescinded.
